Annual General Meeting

About this Event

The AGM of the Society will take place at Arreton June 2nd. We have decided to separate the AGM from the annual One Day Conference which will be held in September.

Agenda, Voting Procedures and Nominations for Officers, Committee Members and President and travel advice will be published in the February Journal, on the website, and  advised to Members.

We intend to combine the AGM with some short presentations to mark the 80th Anniversary of VE Day and VJ Day (the end of the Second World War) with members, including Hazel Pullen, and Steve and Gerry Newberry, telling us about their relatives' contribution to the War.

If you have  a story or artefacts you would like to share, in a "Show and Tell" manner, let us know and we'll make some time for you during the afternoon. You don't need anything elaborate - we can project images of documents and items on the big screen, using a camera connected to the laptop / projector setup.

Doors open at 1.00 pm *
