HE WAS A MEMBER OF THIS CHURCH FOR OVER
40 YEARS, AND FOR 37 THE SOCIETY STEWARD,
WHICH OFFICE HE FILLED WITH GREAT FIDELITY
AND CHEERFULNESS. BY HIS EVER READY &
LOVING WELCOME HE ATTRACTED MANY PEOPLE
TO THIS SANCTUARY, ENDEARING HIMSELF TO A WIDE
CIRCLE OF FRIENDS. HIS INTEREST IN THE SABBATH
SCHOOL WAS ALWAYS VERY DEEP, AND REMAINED
CONSTANT UNTIL THE CALL CAME. HIS ZEAL IN ALL
GOOD WORKS AND WALK BEFORE MEN WERE SO
UNIFORM & CONSISTENT THAT HE PROVED HIMSELF
A PATTERN DISCIPLE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
