Newspaper entry:   News we hear has been received that Pte. W. Scovell, A.S.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Scovell, Upper Ventnor, has been killed in action. Before enlisting he worked at Bull & Sons. Only last week it was announced that his brother had been wounded on the Salonica front.
